The platform operator, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland, also processes personal data as an independent controller. Joint controllership with Meta may apply to certain page and Insights features.
3. Data processed and purposes
When you visit or interact with our profiles, your public profile, reactions, comments, messages, enquiries and technical usage information may in particular be processed. We use this data for the following purposes:
- Presenting CLINVERUM and providing information about the product and company
- Handling enquiries and pre-contractual communication
- Moderation, IT security and preventing misuse and infringements
- Analysing aggregated reach and interaction data
Depending on the activity, the legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual communication and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for public relations, secure communication and relevant information. Where consent is required, processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
4. No patient or health data through social media
Facebook, Instagram, comments and messenger messages are not intended for patient records, diagnoses, medical findings, image or video documentation, medication data, insurance data or other health data.
Please do not submit medical or patient-related content there. Such messages are not treated as a medical communication channel or as part of a patient record. For product enquiries, use the CLINVERUM contact channel.
5. Insights and joint controllership
Meta may provide us with aggregated statistics about views and interactions. We have only limited influence over how Meta collects and compiles this data. Meta provides information about joint controllership for Facebook Page Insights.
6. Recipients and transfers
Content and interactions may be publicly visible depending on your platform and profile settings. Meta processes data within its group of companies and may also process data outside the European Economic Area. 7. Retention period
We retain enquiries addressed directly to us only as long as necessary to process them, document communication or meet statutory retention obligations. We have only limited influence over retention periods at Meta. Meta provides information about deletion and account management in its respective privacy policies.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority. For data processed exclusively by Meta, you may exercise your rights directly with Meta. You may also contact us; we will forward your request to Meta if necessary.
